With your purchase you will receive a ticket for the English-language run of the Larp Elmwood Chronicles - The Last Summer 2025 (English Run, May 29th - June 1st 2025). The ticket price includes accommodation (shared bathroom and toilet on the same floor), food, drinks and a character designed by the organizers of the game.
‘Elmwood Chronicles - The Last Summer’ is a larp event for adults set in England in 1914. The game is inspired by drama series such as ‘Upstairs, Downstairs’ and ‘Downton Abbey’ as well as other works about this exciting era.
Upper class/servants When registering, you must specify whether you want to play a role from the upper class (family and guests) or the circle of servants. Both types of roles offer a different gaming experience. The accommodation of the participants also depends on the status of their characters, whereby the characters of the family and their guests are accommodated in the more comfortable rooms on the upper floor, while the servant characters mainly stay in somewhat smaller and less comfortable rooms on the lower floor.
Gender When registering, it must be specified whether a ticket is purchased for a male or a female role. There are only a limited number of male and female characters available, in order to ensure the gender balance in the roles that is necessary for our concept. Of course, the gender of the roles does not have to match the real gender of the participants.
Paying in instalments If you choose the option "down payment", the remaining ticket price has to be paid in two equal instalments of 100,- Euro each. The first instalment is due two months after the initial purchase and the second after four months. You will receive a separate payment form for this purpose.
Refund policy After purchasing your ticket, you have a fourteen-day right of cancellation. After this period has expired, the participation fee can generally no longer be refunded. The following applies up to one month before the event: If you should determine that you cannot attend the event, you can try to find a replacement participant. In this case, you will receive a full refund. We are happy to help with the search.
Please note: Tickets can only be sold to other participants with our consent.
Accessibility The venue can only be accessed via stairs, there is no ramp for wheelchair users. There are stairs and steps in various places inside the venue - those have no lifts or ramps. There is no low-barrier bathroom available. There are uneven areas both inside (old floorboards, worn stairs, slippery tiles) and outside (meadow, tree roots) the location. The outside areas of the location are largely unlit. At night, the lighting is very weak in certain areas of the location. There may be both visual and audio game information during the course of the game.
